Conductivity Probes & Circuits
Electrical Conductivity or (EC) measures the ability for a material to transmit an electrical current over a certain distance, usually measured in Siemens per distance. By introducing salts, chlorides, sulfides, carbonates, and other ions, the conductivity of water will increase as the concentration of ions increases. More ions, more roadways for the electricity to travel.
Electrical Conductivity is commonly used in hydroponics, aquaculture, and freshwater systems to monitor the amount of nutrients, salts, or impurities within the water. Whether you are manufacturing robots, process equipment, sensor arrays, or even handheld equipment, Atlas Scientific brings you the power and flexibility of accurate conductivity sensing designed exclusively for robotics.
